Batteries are incredibly important for the energy transition. In response, gigafactories for battery production are being constructed globally. But how environmentally friendly are the batteries actually? The state-of-the-art battery uses rare and polluting materials such as manganese, cobalt, and nickel. These are scarce materials that come from countries where labor conditions are also poor.
We believe that circularity is the only long term solution. Therefore our battery is designed to dismantle. With smart technology our battery is high energy dense and sustainable! Circular Battery strives to use sustainable abundant raw materials extracted in Europe, such as silicon. With our technology we obtain maximum performance and we extend the battery life cycle.
